  • Who will walk with me?

    It’s late here. I’m camped in the living room with my two youngest daughters. One is home from college and the other will complete her high school career this week. The topic of chat is centered around what dresses they will be wearing to the younger one’s high school graduation. After a missions trip to Central Europe, my baby will intern at summer camps for five weeks, and then pack her bags and head off to a much-anticipated collegiate adventure.   • Paragons, Paradigms, Pleasure and Profit

    Paradigms. I remember that I was in college the first time I heard the word used. I didn’t know what it meant. We had a bowling alley down on Villard Street called the Paragon Bowling Center. I wondered if there was any relation between paradigms and paragons. I didn’t actually know what either of the words meant.
