One of the biggest ways to be an Activist short of a Career.
Possibly at churches, schools, clubs, colleges, businesses or small home groups.
On Sunday April 15, 2012 Will and Cathy were stuck in Bangkok still dealing with Will’s Thyroid Cancer. SFE had already had to cancel several events but this Sunday was in Dickinson, ND. A place we knew well. All of a sudden a thought came to our minds. What if we didn’t cancel it. What if we sent someone to do a presentation for us. They wouldn’t have to preach like Will does they could just show the 5 minute video & then talk for about 5 minutes and then have the church take up a special offering for SFE.
Lisa Kilsdonk, fresh off of speaking at Evangel University representing SFE, was the obvious choice. She lives in Baker, MT so Dickinson wouldn’t be too far to go. She went and did a tremendous job.
The offering that Sunday in Dickinson with a willing volunteer doing a simple presentation?
4,000 dollars. GAME CHANGER.
